Shah Rukh Khan

In school, Shah Rukh Khan was nicknamed ‘Mail Train’ because he was a very fast runner and won plenty of races. He was also a great hockey player and was pretty good in academics too. Truly, King Khan!

Irrfan Khan has been a vegetarian since childhood. Apparently Irrfan Khan’s father used to jokingly say that he (Irrfan)was a ‘Brahmin born in the family of Pathans”!

Amitabh Bachchan

In 1982, while filming a fight scene in ‘Coolie’, Amitabh Bachchan suffered a near fatal intestinal injury, leading to several months of hospitalisation. Due to this incident the film’s ending was changed. Initially, BigB’s character was supposed to die, but after the incident, the ending was modified to keep BigB’s character alive. This was because the director of the movie Manmohan Desai felt it would be inappropriate to kill off Amitabh Bachchan’s character after the actor had managed to fight off death in real life.

Aamir Khan first appeared on screen as a child actor in ‘Yaadon Ki Baarat’. Okay, wasn’t at all aware of this!

Salman Khan suffers from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a facial nerve disorder which causes unbearable pain and is commonly called the ‘suicide disesase’. This disease is characterized by episodes of sudden unbearable pain on one side of the face.
